The Sysis RTG Syetm was designed to enable the
computer user to have multiple platforms (Amiga
WB3+, Windows 95/NT4, MacOS) appear as if
they are a single machine so as to make the user
more productive. It does this by taking the two
machines and a possible MacOS emulator like
Fusion.

Once this is setup, you operate ONE keyboard and
ONE mouse with all of your software. You would
also only be using ONE monitor for all three
machines which will be able to handle all the screen
modes you wish to use. As far as you are
concerned, you just run a program, regardless of
weather it is an Amiga application or a PC or a
MacOS, the software will just run it for you.

Obviously, this is backed up by the fact that the
RTG System has all of the drives from the different
operating systems mounted within the Amiga OS so
that you can share files instantly between
applications. With the standard Siamese, the
method of connection is via serial, with 2.5
however, you can use TCP/IP Ethernet. With a
suitable Ethernet controller, such as the Zorro 2
Hydranet, you can transfer files at speeds of over
600 kilobytes per second.
